01 / About
My life has never fitted neatly into a single title. I am an Elim ordained minister, a strategic communicator and a creative leader. Each calling is rooted in the same conviction: clarity changes what people can see—and what they believe is possible.
After more than two decades in the City of London and years leading creative, brand and communications work, I now bring together ministry experience, commercial judgement and an instinct for meaningful storytelling.

The message at the centre

My preaching and teaching are Gospel-centred, rooted in Scripture and shaped for everyday life. I serve within the Elim Pentecostal Church, with a particular heart for discipleship, pastoral ministry and communicating deep truth in plain language.

| The decisions you delay will eventually make themselves. Leaders often postpone decisions for understandable reasons. Careful thinking matters. Some decisions need time, evidence and consultation. | assets/images/linkedin/20260813delay.png | Reflections on communication, leadership, brand and creativity. | https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7493593412512878592/ | |
| Is your brand aligned with yesterday, today or tomorrow? Every established brand lives across three timeframes. | assets/images/linkedin/yesterday.png | Reflections on communication, leadership, brand and creativity. | https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7493296508117790720/ | |
| Words can burn it all down. Trust built over years can be damaged in seconds by a sarcastic remark, an angry email, a public accusation or a sentence spoken to win rather than resolve. | assets/images/linkedin/words.png | Reflections on communication, leadership, brand and creativity. | https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7492922185418878977/ | |
| A full diary can hide an empty sense of direction. We can be busy, productive and outwardly successful while remaining uncertain about the person we are becoming. | assets/images/linkedin/identity.png | Reflections on communication, leadership, brand and creativity. | https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7492565573474873344/ | |
| Huge problems rarely begin huge. They often begin with something small. A missed deadline. A dismissive comment. A decision that was never explained. A meeting in which someone felt ignored. | assets/images/linkedin/identity.png | Reflections on communication, leadership, brand and creativity. | https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7491744155295997952/ | |
| People do not attend events because they know they are happening. When attendance is lower than expected, the usual response is to increase promotion. | assets/images/linkedin/awareness.png | Reflections on communication, leadership, brand and creativity. | https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7491441503077036032/ | |
| We spend a great deal of time thinking about what comes next. The next role. The next quarter. The next campaign. The next stage of the plan. Meanwhile, leadership is happening in the present tense. | assets/images/linkedin/annoyances.png | Reflections on communication, leadership, brand and creativity. | https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7491060112120274945/ | |
| Most organisations already communicate too much. Every update becomes urgent. Every announcement is marked important. | assets/images/linkedin/noise.png | Reflections on communication, leadership, brand and creativity. | https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7490752538103869440/ | |
| Opportunities to learn more rarely arrive with a label. Sometimes they look like an unfamiliar brief, a difficult conversation, a failed idea or a colleague asking a question we cannot answer. | assets/images/linkedin/staycurious.png | Reflections on communication, leadership, brand and creativity. | https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7490328822588833792/ | |
| We have never had access to so much information. Our phones can tell us where we are, how to reach our destination, what the traffic is doing, where to eat and what everyone else thought of the restaurant | assets/images/linkedin/starved.png | Reflections on communication, leadership, brand and creativity. | https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7489973258365267968/ | |
| We rarely communicate from neutral ground. We bring assumptions, habits, pressure, past experience and a desire to protect ourselves. | assets/images/linkedin/bettercommunication.png | Reflections on communication, leadership, brand and creativity. | https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7489310852723093504/ | |
| Most communication problems begin before anyone writes a word. A team opens PowerPoint, starts drafting an email or commissions a video before agreeing on the message. The format begins to lead the thinking. | assets/images/linkedin/sayitwell.png | Reflections on communication, leadership, brand and creativity. | https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7488910001009512448/ | |
| YouTube has built an impressive business around a rather absurd contradiction. Companies pay the platform to place adverts in front of viewers. Viewers pay the platform to remove them. | assets/images/linkedin/interuption.png | Reflections on communication, leadership, brand and creativity. | https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7488910001009512448/ | |
| Are your communications information or inspiration? Most organisational communication is good at transferring facts. | assets/images/linkedin/informorinspire.png | Reflections on communication, leadership, brand and creativity. | https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7488529400578068480/ | |
| We don’t actually know as much as we think we know. And we certainly don’t know as much as we would like to know. | assets/images/linkedin/knowless.png | Reflections on communication, leadership, brand and creativity. | https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7488149905488674816/ | |
| Brands rarely forget who they are overnight. It usually happens through a series of perfectly reasonable decisions. | assets/images/linkedin/brands.png | Reflections on communication, leadership, brand and creativity. | https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7487803884342534144/ | |
| We have never had more ways to communicate at work. Yet people are often less certain about what is happening, why it matters and what they should do next. | assets/images/linkedin/communication.png | Reflections on communication, leadership, brand and creativity. | https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7487441829307555840/ | |
| Digital fatigue is often treated as a personal failure of discipline. We are told to manage our notifications, take regular breaks, close unnecessary tabs and spend less time looking at screens. | assets/images/linkedin/digitalfatigue.png | Reflections on communication, leadership, brand and creativity. | https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7486786661645754368/ | |
